Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has given birth to a baby Girl :)

Aishwarya Rai looked ever so beautiful at a presser called on her return home from hospital with her newborn daughter, posing with doting husband Abhishek Bachchan who lit the scene with his megawatt smile, making flashbulbs unnecessary in the fading evening light! 

Aishwarya looked ethereal in a blush pink kalidar long sleeve Georgette top accented with sequins and pink ribbon trim on hem and cuffs. She paired it with a matching churidaar, a shadow embroidery sequined dupatta trimmed with borders matching her top and white thong sandals with shimmering golden straps. 

The Bachchans called the press meet at their office at Janak to thank the media for it's self imposed restrain while covering Aishwarya's hospitalization at Seven Hills, the birth of the child, and the return home of the mother and daughter. 

Thanking the media, Amitabh said "You all had promised that you will stay away and you all did that, my family is grateful to you all. It was a very private moment for the family." 

"Today we brought betiya home we are all very happy with this, hamare ghar Laxmi aayi hai, Abhishek, Aishwarya and betiya all are well and in good health, life changes when a new life comes to your house. I would say Laxmi Ratna has arrived in our house," he added. 

Asked which parent the newborn resembles, Amitabh said "I think the child looks like Aishwarya but you all know that a child's face changes every day, but I still want to believe that she has Aishwarya's face but few people in house believe that there is some resemblance with Abhishek

Mumbai: Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has given birth to a baby girl, the first daughter for the former Miss World and her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan. The delivery took place at the Seven Hills Hospital in Marol, Mumbai.

A proud grandfather, Amitabh tweeted on Wednesday morning, "T 561 - I AM DADA to the cutest baby girl !!"Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai had married on April 20, 2007 as per Hindu customs. The much publicised wedding had taken place in a private ceremony at 'Prateeksha', the Bachchan residence in Juhu, Mumbai.  Twitter has been the speculation ground for the Bachchan baby since long. There have been speculations on the exact date of delivery and the gender of the baby.
